Light + Building 2010, Hall 4.1, Booth H31
• Whatever your needs: excellent light guidance or diffusion
• Classic products constantly reinterpreted
The PLEXIGLAS® range includes not only solid sheets, films, multi-skin sheets and corrugated sheets, but PLEXIGLAS® rods and tubes as well. Like all PLEXIGLAS® products, the specific properties of the rods and tubes—outstanding brilliance and transparency, for example, excellent UV- and weather-resistance, their light weight and good processing qualities—make them a compelling proposition.
PLEXIGLAS® rods and tubes in a variety of grades for different application needs are the material of choice in the lighting industry. In daylight or artificial light settings alike, transparent rods and tubes with excellent light-guiding behavior offer 92 percent light transmission. Tubes made of PLEXIGLAS® Satin Ice create special effects, with their stylish velvety surface producing excellent light diffusion coupled with superior light transmission. And PLEXIGLAS® EndLighten rods are a specialty product with exceptional lighting engineering properties: A single light source is enough to evenly illuminate the entire rod.
PLEXIGLAS® rods and tubes are available in different sizes for both technical and decorative applications. Tubes range in size from 5 to 650 mm in diameter, while round or square rods come in a diameter or edge length of 2 to 100 mm. Clear rods and tubes represent the basic range, but there is, of course, no limit to the possible color choices in transparent, translucent, fluorescent or opaque grades. If you wish, we can even reproduce your corporate colors.
