Aquarium glazing and comparable applications are exposed to high mechanical loads and influence from media on the water ide.The resulting intensive permanent stress in a corrosive medium must be most carefully considered when determining the material behavior and making statical calculations.On the one hand, this is done by limiting the maximum permissible stress inside the material, depending on the type and geometrical position of the finished component; on the other, via the acceptable processing conditions, e.g. during forming and bonding of the usually thick-walled glazing elements.
To prove these values with the required precision, it takes an inherently homogeneous material with known properties that are ensured by a manufacturing specification.

QPA quality inspection (inspection prior to delivery) according to an internal specification of Evonik Röhm GmbH

Our QPA inspection is performed on PLEXIGLAS^® GS blocks of 30 mm to 250 mm. This test covers all major physical properties of importance to material behavior. It is performed on each production batch and gives the customer the corresponding technical safety. Further test certificates (e.g. EN 10 204 Certificate of Compliance with the Order "2.1", Test Report "2.2", Inspection Certificate "3.1"...) can be provided on the basis of this inspection.
