What is the light transmission of PLEXIGLAS^® molding compound in the UV (ultraviolet) range?

Most of our colored molding compound grades are light-absorbing in the range from 250 to 380 nm (UV range). In transparent grades, the UV transmission depends on the grade. PLEXIGLAS^® 7N is UV-transmitting in the range from 250 to 380 nm, whereas PLEXIGLAS^® 8N absorbs almost all UV light.We will be pleased to provide corresponding transmission diagrams on request (plexiglas.polymers@degussa.com).
